Company is seeking 1st shift Weld Inspector-SE Wisconsin.
Certified Welding Inspector (CWI). It would be beneficial if the candidate has a current CWI license.
If the applicant is familiar with grades of steel, welding processes and procedures, and the certified standards of API, AWS, ASME, ABS, EDM and the other duties listed below, that person would be a qualified candidate.
Knowledge and use of outside micrometers, calipers, height gauges, inside micrometers, and tape measures.
Ability to interpret drawings.
Knowledge of all aspects of inspection, tool calibration, set-up techniques and overhead crane operation.
Basic knowledge of machining (Drilling, lathes, horizontal bar).
Math and communication skills.
