Company is seeking an Manufacturing Engineer for their manufacturing OEM and job shop machining and robotics.
Smaller to medium sized manufacturer-CNC and manual machining and process.
Manufacturing experience with planning, process implementation, process improvement, equipment installation, maintenance and repair.
Manufacturing / Process / Project engineer is responsible for Coordinating and implementing quality control objectives, activities, or procedures to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, or minimize costs.
Coordinate all activities and equipment for new product launches and modifications to existing products. Special emphasis will be on process design, process evaluation, part handling, machining, parts finishing, and APQP project management. Investigate, justify, select, implement, and/or debug production equipment and processes. Special emphasis on automated material movement, machining, and parts finishing. Will also be involved with plant facilities, cost reductions, productivity improvements, and other misc. projects
Utilize Microsoft Office suite, MS-Project and working knowledge of AutoCAD
Write, document and update work instructions along with product engineering to meet quality and labor standards. Assemble reports to document process status and changes.
Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and the quality of finished products.
$75K-$90K plus bonuses and benefits.
Requires 3-5 years in manufacturing. BS degree in engineering, manufacturing engineering, or mechanical engineering.
