Company is seeking a mechanical engineer in manufacturing/fabrication
Buyer/purchaser for their manufacturing facility.
A versatile person who can assist the engineering team, open to learning and advancement.
Raw Materials Buyer-metal fabrication, machining and related.
Manufacturing experience in metal fabrication, machining, supply raw materials purchasing.
Requisitions, expediting orders, implement contract instructions, arrange delivery dates, coordinate materials, process and purchasing.
Arrange best prices for raw materials, supplies and tooling
Utilize Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel to set rates, schedules, blend dates, materials, vendors, inventory, pricing etc.
Prefer someone with manufacturing in metal fabrication, welding, assembly, machining or related production.
Firsthand knowledge of manufacturing processes, raw materials, and consumable tooling.
Mechanical Design Engineer to grow in the purchasing areas of metal fabrication and machining
Typical skills and knowledge: ERP, MRP and BOM skills and how procurement relates to P&L and EBITA.
Word, PowerPoint, and Excel are also typical skills.
• Bachelor’s in Engineering (preferably mechanical design)
• 2+ years with Autocad and 2+ years with 3D CAD (Solidworks, Inventor or similar)
• 1+ yr purchasing of steel components

Bachelor’s or Associates degree. Excel experience required. 3 years materials and/or production purchasing and vendor relationships. Industrial, metal fabrication, machinery building, mechanical assembly industries.
