Saw and Mill Operator

1st  shift positions at a manufacturer in Waukesha.

Set up and operate cold saw to cut heavy metal stock with accuracy.

Set up rough mill to cut raw stock. Twin head manual mill.

Also grind and move materials.

Math, measuring, prints and patterns.
Immediate opening on first shift for  saw operator, rough cut mills.

Requires good math and measuring and experience using caliper and micrometer.

Medium to heavier gauge steel.

Saw Operator-will train $22-$24?hour with shop experience and good measuring using tape measures.

Twin Head Mill-Rough milling-manual experience-$26-$28/hour

• Start machines, monitor their operations, and record operational data.
• Set up, operate, or tend machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal or plastic material.
• Set blade tensions, heights, and angles to perform prescribed cuts, using wrenches.
• Read work orders or production schedules to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, locations of cutting lines, or dimensions and tolerances.
