Company is seeking an Design Automation / Process Engineer for their manufacturing and metal fabrication division
Metal fabrication, welding, electro mechanical assembly, manufacturing, finishing, packaging, palletizing and shipping departments.
Manufacturing experience with maintenance,
PM planning, process implementation, process improvement, equipment installation and repair.
Manufacturing / Process / Project engineer is responsible for Coordinating and implementing quality control objectives,
activities, or procedures to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, or minimize costs.
Emphasis is on the maintenance engineering side of things.
Coordinate all activities and equipment for new product launches and modifications to existing products.
Special emphasis will be on process design, process evaluation, part handling, machining, parts finishing, and APQP project management.
Investigate, justify, select, implement, and/or debug production equipment and processes.
Special emphasis on automated material movement, machining, and parts finishing.
Will also be involved with plant facilities, cost reductions, productivity improvements, and other misc. projects
Utilize Microsoft Office suite, MS-Project and working knowledge of AutoCAD
Write, document and update work instructions along with product engineering to meet quality and labor standards.
Assemble reports to document process status and changes.
Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and the quality of finished products.
$85K-$110K
Requires 3-5 years in manufacturing. Bachelor’s Degree preferably in engineering, manufacturing engineering, or mechanical engineering.
